Bookings for the BS6-compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350 have begun ahead of its official market launch in India. Royal Enfield dealerships have started accepting bookings unofficially for a token amount of Rs 10,000 and have begun receiving stocks of the bike.

The BS6 Classic 350 continues to employ the ageing 350cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine as before. However, changes in output following the switch to BS6 remain to be seen. The BS4 Classic 350, meanwhile, puts out 19.8hp and 28Nm of torque.

Cosmetically, the BS6 Classic 350 in the Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey paint schemes is offered with alloys as standard while the rest of the range will continue to utilise wire-spoke wheels. Other notable changes include the addition of a low-fuel warning and engine malfunction/warning indicators in the instrument console.

The manufacturer is also working on the new generation of the Classic 350. The upcoming motorcycle has already been spotted testing and is likely to be introduced by end-2020.
