Bajaj has recently re-launched its CT 100, made to take on the 100cc two-wheeler commuter segment. The CT 100 is equipped with alloy wheels and new graphic colour schemes.
It is now powered by a 99.27cc, four-stroke and air-cooled engine. The power-plant makes 8.1bhp at 7,500rpm and maximum torque of 0.8kgm made at 4,500rpm. The new CT 100 gets Bajaj's patent shock-in-shock suspension setup.
Bajaj has also launched its refreshed new Platina, equipped with an electric starter. The launch of the two motorcycles definitely means that Bajaj is all set to claim its lost share in the mass market commuter segment, which has taken a hit in recent times.
The new Bajaj CT 100 is priced at Rs 38,895 (ex-showroom, Pune). Dealers have already started taking bookings for the new motorcycle.
