Three riders completed the famous Trans-Siberian Odyssey on Bajaj Dominar 400s. The journey spanned over 53 days negotiating about 15,600 km across six countries – Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia and back into Russia.
The Dominar 400 is the first Indian motorcycle to complete this arduous journey. Deepak Kamath, Dilip Bhat and Sudhir Prasad were the three riders who took on this journey. They covered an average of 390km per day, riding through all kinds of extreme terrain and weather conditions, all without any form of service support or back-up.
The Trans-Siberian Odyssey includes high-altitude passes, grasslands, river beds, rocky terrains, dirt trails, steep gradients and loose gravel. 3,000km of the total journey was covered on the Stalin era Road of Bones infamous for its dangerous conditions.
The three bikes used for this journey and the riders will now travel across India while making stops at 10 key metro cities. They will visit Bajaj dealerships where they will interact with customers and even ride with them.
