BMW has unveiled the fifth-generation X5 with a completely redesigned exterior based on its latest Neue Klasse design language. While it retains its familiar SUV proportions, the new X5 gets a taller front end, new lighting signatures, cleaner surfacing and new 'BMW Winglet' door handles integrated into the bodywork. The luxury SUV gets slimmer tail-lamps, redesigned bumpers, 11 exterior colours and alloy wheels ranging from 21 to 23 inches. The new X5 will be offered globally with petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, electric and, later, hydrogen powertrains.
