Maruti Vitara Brezza photo gallery
With its short overhangs, squared-out wheel arches and mildly raked tail, the Vitara Brezza looks like a scaled-down SUV. The Brezza's cabin is spacious with the rear seats offering adequate knee room and space enough to sit three abreast. The front seats are well padded and offer a good view out thanks to the low-set dashboard. At 328 litres, the boot isn't the biggest but the rear seats can be folded to increase volume. The top-spec Brezza ZDI+ gets the inclusion of a cruise control system. The 89bhp 1.3-litre DDiS200 motor offers a punchy mid-range and revs to a relatively high – for a diesel engine – 5,300rpm. The engine though feels bogged down below 2,000rpm. The higher trim levels of the Brezza offer customisable light settings for the instrument cluster. The Brezza too shares components with other Maruti's such as the window switches from the first-gen Swift. The SmartPlay infotainment system on the Brezza ZDI+ comes equipped with Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link. The higher variants of the Brezza get twin gloveboxes, with the upper unit being a cooled one. The Brezza's A-, B- and C-pillars come finished in black and gives the SUV a 'floating roof' design. The D-pillar can either be given a body-coloured finish or a black or white contrast colour. Seen from the front, the Brezza's LED guide lamps on the higher trims look similar to a bull's horns. The gloss black trim surround for the central air con vents and infotainment system give the dashboard a neat look. An underseat tray for storage under the front seats make for a good place to stow valuables. The 'Bull Horn' LED design is also featured on the tail-lamps. The hazard lamps are set in the front bumpers as separate units, rather than as part of the headlamps. The Vitara Brezza has been designed and engineered entirely in India and will only be available with a diesel engine for now. Here is a photo gallery.
