Mahindra Auto has unveiled the Vision S concept on Independence Day, likely to join the Scorpio range alongside the N and Classic. It features the Twin Peaks logo flanked by triple vertical LEDs linking inverted L-shaped headlights, pixel fog lamps, and exterior bits like thick cladding, roof ladder, jerry can, and 19-inch star-shaped wheels with red callipers. The rear gets inverted L tail-lights and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Inside, it gets a new 'VISION S' steering wheel, updated digital driver's display, and a central touchscreen with Mahindra's NU UX. It is built on the brand's NU_IQ platform, which supports petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric powertrains, plus both FWD and AWD layouts. The concept's visible fuel cap hints at internal combustion options, with the likely candidates being Mahindra's 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. It's under 4 metres long, with a 2,665mm wheelbase, slightly longer than the XUV 3XO's. Production-spec model's launch is expected in 2027.
