BMW Motorrad has revealed a one-off concept motorcycle named as the Vision K18. It is built around a 1,800cc inline six-cylinder engine. BMW has used six intakes, six tailpipes and six LED headlights to reflect the architecture of the inline-six. The Vision K18’s silhouette takes inspiration from high-speed aircraft designs, such as the Concorde known for its prominent long and low shape. BMW says several aluminium body panels have been hand-formed, including a seamless side panel measuring more than two metres in length. The concept also gets hydraulic suspension, an actively cooled headlight, and forged carbon elements. Flame-sprayed metal accents inspired by classic Formula 1 exhaust headers.
