The Vision is a 2+2-seater coupe, stretching the tape to 5.2 metres.
The front features Alpina’s signature shark-nose treatment, while the slim grille is inspired by the 1956 BMW 507.
The daytime running lights use a warm white colour, and the headlamps have small illuminated crystal details.
The concept carries over classic Alpina touches, including a 20-spoke design for the wheels (22-inch front and 23-inch rear).
It also gets a subtle version of the Deco Set stripes; on production cars, BMW plans to hand-paint these.
A full-width display unit at the windscreen's base, a rhomboid-shaped touchscreen and a separate passenger display are present inside.
It gets a steering wheel featuring vertical twin spokes and the new Alpina logo in the centre.
2+2 seating layout on offer.
At the rear are BMW Alpina crystal glasses that rise automatically from the centre console.
The Vision prototype is powered by a front, longitudinally mounted V8 engine.

The 2026 Vision Grand Tourer concept, revealed on Friday, shows what Alpina’s future could look like under BMW. Alpina was once a standalone tuning company, but BMW took full control at the start of 2026 after its 2022 acquisition. The concept will not directly lead to a production car, but it points to the design direction for future Alpina models. These cars will sit above regular BMWs in price, but below Rolls-Royce. The first production Alpina under BMW will be based on the 7 Series and will debut in 2027.
