The Yamaha Tenere 700 is the middle weight adventure bike in Yamaha’s global line-up. It is powered by the CP2 engine - renowned for its reliability and exciting power delivery, which is also shared with its naked sibling the MT-07. The 689cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin-cylinder engine produces 73.4hp at 9,000 rpm and 68Nm at 6,500 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.The Tenere 700 gets a fully adjustable 43mm USD front fork with 210mm of travel and a link-type monoshock rear suspension, which can be adjusted for preload as well as rebound damping. The 21/18 inch wheels setup on the Tenere come with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR adventure tyres as standard.It is equipped with YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle), which also brings two riding modes: Sport and Explorer, giving the possibility to choose the best power and torque characteristics to meet riding needs. ABS and TCS can also be turned off, giving the rider total control, which is particularly useful on unpaved surfaces. Complementing the electronics suite, the Tenere also features a 6.3 inch TFT instrument cluster to provide all the vital information.
