Top variant gets 18-inch alloy wheels and two new colours, including a dual-tone option.
The GR Sport trim gets sportier-looking bumpers, ‘GR Sport’ badges and version-specific alloy wheels.
Only the non-GR Sport trim of the 2026 Yaris Cross gets all-wheel drive.
But it is the front-wheel-drive versions that are 0.6 seconds quicker to 100kph.
The interior of the top-spec Yaris Cross gets platinum-coloured trim and highlights, plus sustainable materials.
GR Sport gets version-specific logos and sport seats with suede-type materials and red stitching.
Features include a panoramic glass roof, split-folding rear seats and an electrically powered tailgate.
There’s also JBL audio, ambient lighting, wireless smartphone connectivity, plus power-closing ORVMs.

Toyota performed a comprehensive update on the Yaris Cross in 2024. While retaining its TNGA-B platform, this compact SUV has been given a facelift for 2026. Toyota says it is the “best-selling car” in Europe in 2025, selling 2 lakh units. Clearly, the Yaris Cross is popular amongst its buyers in its target market. The facelift dropped the lower-output 114hp version of this car’s 1.5-litre hybrid powertrain, switching to the higher-output 129hp guise.
