I’m considering the Tata Tigor CNG AMT - should I go for it? The Tata Tiago CNG AMT is a good choice for city driving. It has a frugal powertrain that claims 28.06km/kg, and in our preliminary testing, the efficiency we achieved was close to this. It also has a decent amount of practicality thanks to the dual-cylinder setup that opens up boot space.

Asked by: dhivahar k I’m confused between the Taisor and the Fronx - I prefer the Taisor’s looks, but they’re largely the same car. Should I pick the white or the orange Taisor S+ AMT? I drive about 250 km weekly around Bangalore city. As you know, the Toyota Taisor and Maruti Suzuki Fronx are essentially the same car under the skin. The decision depends on your preference for the looks, and either one of them is a good choice for 250km in Bangalore.

Asked by: Abhishek Pranav Which diesel automatic car with ADAS should I buy? I’m confused between the Kia Syros, Kia Sonet, and the new Hyundai Venue. All three cars are very similar to one another, using the same 1.5-litre diesel engine and 6-speed automatic gearbox. If space is a high priority for you, then choose the Kia Syros, as its boxy and upright function-before-form design allows it to have much more room inside. However, this comes at a price premium, and the Syros is positioned above both the Kia Sonet and the Hyundai Venue.The new Hyundai Venue is expected to be priced lower than the Syros, in keeping with its more traditional compact SUV positioning, while it has also been updated with the latest tech. So if maximum space in the rear seat is not your primary concern, we recommend checking out the new Hyundai Venue.

Asked by: Jiji M I’m confused between the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Syros, and Hyundai Venue. My monthly running is about 500 km. We’re a family of five and need a spacious boot for long trips. Please advise. We suggest considering either the Kia Syros or the new Hyundai Venue. The new Venue is more spacious than before, comes loaded with features, and offers a large boot.The Syros also provides similar strengths. As for which one drives better, we’ll know soon after we test the new car, so stay tuned!

Asked by: Guntas Sidhu I’m looking to upgrade to a new car. My monthly usage is around 1,000 km, mainly for city commuting as a college student. My budget is ₹10-15 lakh, and I’m considering the Mahindra Thar 4x2 or the new Hyundai Venue diesel. Between the two, we definitely recommend the new Hyundai Venue diesel. Being a monocoque compact SUV, it’s likely to be more comfortable, easier to drive, and more efficient than the Mahindra Thar or Thar Roxx.Between the two Thar versions, the Mahindra Thar Roxx is the better choice as it’s more practical and comfortable for daily use.

I prefer a top variant and have shortlisted two options: Tata Altroz Accomplished Plus S DCA and Hyundai New Venue HX10 DCT. I like both cars, but am confused about which one to buy. My usage will mainly be personal, for city driving and long highway trips. I also plan to buy the car under BH registration. Of your two choices, it's better to go for the New Hyundai Venue HX10 DCT as the engine and gearbox combination is superior to what you get in the Tata Altroz, the Accomplished + S 1.2 Petrol DCT variant.While both cars are compact and adequate for city use, on your highway long drives, you will appreciate the more powerful 120hp turbo petrol engine offered in the new Hyundai Venue. Also, the Venue offers more upmarket interiors and more features than the Tata Altroz.

Asked by: Kunal Madavi I’m 5'9" tall and weigh over 95 kg. I usually travel on weekends within the city and often encounter bad roads. Scooters like the Activa feel uncomfortable. I’m considering the Hero Xpulse, but reviews mention the pillion seat isn’t comfortable. I didn't like the other options in retro style. Should I go for the Xpulse or consider alternatives? The Hero Xpulse 210 is a great bike for rough or broken roads thanks to its neutral riding position and plush long-travel suspension. Regarding pillion comfort, it’s best to take your pillion along for a test ride to check if it suits your needs.If you can stretch your budget slightly, consider the Suzuki V-Strom SX or TVS Apache RTX 300. Both of these bikes offer spacious seats for rider and pillion and similar or better performance than the Xpulse.
