•23wI’m thinking of buying the Mahindra XUV 3XO Rev X A Automatic, but am a bit confused about the mileage difference between the automatic and manual versions for a new driver. My usage will mostly be within the city, with a few long highway trips, and my average monthly running will be around 800 km. Also, please suggest at what monthly running I should consider petrol automatic, petrol manual, or diesel engine options.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO Rex XA variant automatic and a manual gearbox difference, is usually around 2–3 km/l, but it also depends on your driving style.
As a new driver, if you drive in a sedate manner, you can expect the manual to be about 2 km/l more efficient than the automatic.
Given your monthly running of around 800 km, a petrol engine in the Rev X A would be better suited for your needs. Since most of your driving will be within the city, the automatic variant would be a more hassle-free and convenient choice.
