I have a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Alpha automatic petrol car, purchased in 2017. It has been driven only by me and has covered 86,000 km. I’ve serviced it regularly every 10,000 km and I’m quite happy with it. However, the car now has some major exterior scratches and dents, and the seat covers are soiled. Please suggest whether I should buy a new car or spend on repainting and new seat covers. I’m happy to keep using the car for another 3–5 years if possible.
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is a reliable sedan, and with under one lakh kilometres on the odometer, your car still has plenty of life left. If you’re happy with it, refurbishing makes good sense. The job should cost a little over ₹50,000, but it’s important to choose the right garage to ensure quality work.
