In Delhi, the 10-year diesel and 15-year petrol rule is based on the age of the vehicle, not the emission norm. BS6 cars will face the same timeline as BS7 cars once the rule is in place. Waiting for BS7 could mean delaying your purchase for an uncertain period without any meaningful benefit.

Just read that skoda-vw india and jsw motors signed an mou for deeper localisation and new products together. no specifics on actual cars yet, but if this plays out like the maruti-toyota tie-up, expect some rebadges down the line.
