The Scorpio N 4x4 AT and XUV700 AWD AT are two very different vehicles. On account of its ladder-frame chassis, the Scorpio N feels much tougher and is significantly more capable in off-road conditions. However, its on-road manners aren’t as plush or as comfortable as those of the monocoque-bodied XUV700.
The Mahindra Scorpio N also sits higher, which means your parents might find it a bit more difficult to get in and out. The XUV700, on the other hand, is a more sophisticated offering with moderate off-road ability. So, if your parents will be doing a lot of highway driving with only occasional mild off-roading, the Mahindra XUV700 could be the better option.
