As of April 2026, Kinetic sells one electric scooter in India, the Kinetic DX. This Kinetic scooter is available in two variants: DX Standard and DX Plus. The Kinetic electric scooter price starts at ₹1.11 lakh for the Standard variant and goes up to ₹1.17 lakh for the DX Plus variant (ex-showroom). 

The Kinetic electric scooter, the DX is a modern-day EV tribute to the original Kinetic Honda DX, which was quite a popular name in the late 80s and early 90s. According to the Kinetic DX electric vs original article published on July 29, 2025 by us, the brand has deliberately mirrored the original DX’s styling. Here are the similarities that we found: 

• Same boxy, signature silhouette
• 3 vertical slats on bodywork have been retained
• Similar vents under the seat area

• A modern recreation of the original red starter button

How has Kinetic updated the DX for today’s EV standards?

Here are the changes made by Kinetic that modernised the DX while moving it into the EV era:

• Full LED lighting with a redesigned rectangular LED headlamp
• LED Kinetic-logo DRL
• Slimmer LED tail-lamp
• No spare wheel like the old scooter
• Hub-mounted motor (rear wheel not exposed)

Kinetic scooters in India now operate under Kinetic Watts & Volts Limited (not to be confused with Kinetic Green). The DX is being retailed via newly established Watts & Volts EV showrooms.
