The Rocket 3 Storm makes more power than Triumph’s own Speed Triple 1200 RS and the Ducati Diavel V4
The Rocket 3 Storm duo is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 2,458cc, inline three-cylinder engine that now makes 182hp and 225Nm.
This is an increase of 15hp and 4Nm over the already potent ‘standard’ Rocket 3 range.
With its 18-litre tank fully brimmed, the Rocket 3 Storm R weighs 317kg, while the GT is 3 kilos more.
Seat height for the R is a very manageable 773mm, whereas the GT has an even lower 750mm seat height
Features-wise the Storm is identical to the regular Rocket 3 and gets a TFT dash that controls all the riding aids on offer
The R is priced at Rs 22.49 lakh, whereas the GT is priced at Rs 23.09 lakh

This latest generation of the Triumph Rocket 3 was launched back in 2020. The earlier generation featured a 2300cc engine and Triumph bumped up the displacement to 2500cc for this new generation. It currently holds the title of the largest displacement motorcycle engine in series production. This 2,458cc engine produces 182hp and a colossal 225Nm of torque. It's engine is larger than an average SUV and at 240-section, the same can be said for its rear-tyre as well. It is available in two guises-- R and GT. The differences mainly lie in its rider's triangle, with the GT offering a relaxed rider's triangle with wider handle bar and front-set footpegs, whereas the R puts you in a tad-bit more commited position. In India, Triumph only offers the Rocket 3 Storm edition that produces a little more power than the Standard variant. The R is priced at Rs 22.49 lakh, whereas the GT is priced at Rs 23.09 lakh.
