Toyota's Gazoo Racing motorsport division has unveiled the spiciest version of the GR Corolla hot hatch yet. Called the GRMN Corolla, it gets more aggressive styling, more torque, better suspension and tyres. Also, the model has undergone extensive testing at the Nurburgring track in Germany. The removal of the second row seats, and carbon fibre body panels have made it 30kg lighter than the GR Corolla with a manual gearbox. Gazoo racing has reworked the electric power steering and 4WD system for optimized performance on the track. It is powered by a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine that develops an identical 305hp as the standard GR Corolla, but develops 15Nm more torque at 415Nm.
