Rolls-Royce unveiled its first-ever all-electric convertible, called Project Nightingale. It is a part of the brand's Coachbuild collection, which is an invite-only program producing unique cars designed by the brand's Coachbuild department. It shares the same underpinnings as the Spectre, and takes inspiration from the EX Rolls-Royce models from the 1920's.  The name is derived from 'La Rosseignol', the designer's house at founder Henry Royce's French Riviera estate, meaning 'the nightingale'. Its front gets design elements like a V-shaped bonnet and a smooth look for the bumper, like other Rolls-Royce models. With a width of 1 metre, its Patheon grille is the widest among all Rolls-Royce models. Taking inspiration from the Rolls-Royce EX, it gets an elongated design for the tail. The Phantom Nightingale's roof uses exotic materials like cashmere for sound deadening. At the back, it gets a sideways opening boot which mimics the lid of a grand piano, vertical LED tail-lamps, and a carbon fibre splitter. Only 100 units of the Project Nightingale will be made by hand and sold via invite-only, with deliveries starting from 2028.
