Kawasaki has launched a range of five side-by-side off-road vehicles in India. The range spans two distinct categories – performance-oriented sport models and utility-focused workhorses – and covers seating configurations from two to six passengers. It’s worth nothing that none of the models are street-legal. At the top of the range sits the Teryx 4 H2, powered by the same 999cc supercharged inline-four from the Ninja H2 producing a staggering 250hp and 198.3Nm, with FOX long-travel suspension and selectable 2WD/4WD. Below it are the Teryx KRX 1000 and the four-seat Teryx KRX4 1000, both sharing a 999cc parallel-twin producing 110hp and 102Nm, with Showa adjustable suspension and electric power steerting. The Ridge Crew is the most versatile model in the range, using a 999cc inline-four producing 116hp and geared toward resort, infrastructure and recreational use, with adjustable ergonomics. Rounding out the lineup is the most affordable model in the side-by-side range in India, the Mule Pro-FXT 1000 LE. It also happens to be the the most utility-focused of the five, powered by a twin-cylinder 999cc engine producing 70hp, and featuring Kawasaki's unique Trans Cab system that converts between three and six-passenger configurations for agricultural, resort and industrial applications.
