After Ducati comprehensively updated the Panigale V4 earlier this year, the company has also trickled some of those updates down to the Streetfighter V4.

  1. Now makes 214hp, 120Nm; up by 6hp but down by 3Nm
  2. New design language in line with Streetfighter V2
  3. India launch expected next year

Ducati Streetfighter V4 updates for 2025

For starters, the 1,103cc V4 engine in the Ducati Streetfighter V4 now makes 214hp at 13,500rpm and 120Nm of torque at 11,250rpm. Compared to the outgoing model, this is a gain of 6hp but torque has actually gone down by 3Nm. Ducati claims that the Streetfighter’s engine is in the same state of tune as the Panigale but the latter makes 2hp more and a smidge less torque (0.9Nm).

The rest of the Streetfighter V4 is essentially a stripped-bare Panigale V4 with the other main mechanical change being the new double-sided swingarm replacing the current bike’s trademark Ducati single-sided unit. The electronics suite has also seen some revisions and all the bike’s functions are now controlled through the 6.9-inch TFT, which first debuted on the Panigale.

The styling of the updated Streetfighter has also been revised and it is now in line with the new Streetfighter V2 revealed earlier this month at EICMA. The wings are also new and one set is located up on the tank and the other set is located lower down on the radiator shroud.

Ducati has also managed to shave 4 kilos off the Streetfighter, which now weighs 189kg (S) and 191kg (base). The Streetfighter V4 joins a select few bikes in its use of the new Brembo Hypure calipers, the others being the Panigale V4, Aprilia RSV4 and the new KTM 990 RC R.

As before, the S variant comes with semi-active Ohlins suspension and forged aluminium wheels. The base variant makes do with a mechanically-adjustable Showa/Sachs suspension and runs on cast alloy wheels.

Currently, the Streetfighter V4 retails for Rs 24.62 lakh for the standard variant and the S variant sells for Rs 28 lakh. When this updated bike gets here sometime next year, expect a price increase.
