Right after the launch of the Glamour X, Hero silently updated its website with the Xtreme 125R single-seat variant at a price of Rs 1 lakh.

Hero Xtreme 125R gets a new variant
The Xtreme shares its engine with the Glamour X
The Xtreme 125R has always been available with a split-seat setup, in line with its sporty and youthful design. Now, however, Hero has silently updated its website with a new single-seat variant priced at Rs 1 lakh. It sits above the split-seat IBS variant (Rs 98,425) but slots just below the split-seat ABS variant (Rs 1.02 lakh).
The Xtreme 125R costs as much as the recently launched top variant of the Glamour X. However, the Glamour X comes with ride-by-wire and cruise control tech, whereas the Xtreme 125R features single-channel ABS.
The single-seat variant brings in added practicality in terms of rider and pillion comfort but trades in the sporty appeal of the split-seat variant. The TVS Raider is also available in a single-seat variant that is priced at Rs 93,865.
The Xtreme 125R is powered by the same 124.7cc engine as the Glamour X, which produces 11.5hp and 10.5Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
