The Mahindra Thar Roxx is the 5-seat version of the Thar SUV priced from Rs 12.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The Thar Roxx is available with one petrol and one diesel engine. Both the petrol and diesel engines come in different states of tune, depending on the variant and transmission chosen. There's also 4X4 on offer with the diesel engine only. On the inside, the Thar Roxx gets a dual-tone interior with a soft-touch dashboard and leatherette upholstery. The SUV comes with features including a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and more. The front seats are large and come with decent bolstering, though the lower back area cushioning is a bit much. At the rear, the seats provide generous legroom and thigh support. The seats can recline as well, which provides more comfort, and the flat floor provides comfortable seating for three at the back.

The Maruti Grand Vitara is priced between Rs 10.76 lakh and Rs 19.57 lakh (ex-showroom). The Grand Vitara is available with a choice of two engine options, including a 103hp,1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine and a 116hp, 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine. The Grand Vitara is also one of the few SUVs in its class to offer AWD as an option with its mild-hybrid petrol automatic powertrain. In terms of design, the Grand Vitara's exterior gets an overall butch look. The front has a muscular design with strong bonnet lines, a grille finished in chrome, LED DRLs and LED headlamps. The sides come with black cladding over the wheel arches and on the door sills, and 17-inch dual-tone alloys. Both the front and rear bumpers get a dual-tone treatment as well. At the back, there's a connected LED taillight with the Grand Vitara branding in the centre of the tailgate.
