Triumph Motorcycles has organised a group ride on August 15, 2018, to commemorate India’s 71st Independence Day. Called ‘Ride for Freedom’, it will be held across 16 cities in India and will support the cause of girl child education.

The British motorcycle brand is reaching out to its customer base in India, which recently reached 5,000, to donate towards the cause. This is not the first time the bike maker has organised a ride like this, it has previously sponsored the education of more than 200 girl children with donations to Smile Foundation’s cause.

Shoeb Farooq, general manager, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “In a country like ours, where the female population has limited access to education, it is imperative we create opportunities for growing girl children to learn, grow and evolve. Through these rides, our objective is to create awareness and help children receive quality education. I am certain that this year too, like every year, Triumph enthusiasts will support this cause wholeheartedly.”

Ducati is also organising a similar group ride on Independence Day for a charitable cause, read more about it here.
