Mercedes-AMG may have recently sold its stake in high-end Italian sports bike manufacturer, MV Agusta, but its star F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, remains keen to continue his association with the motorcycle brand. Three-time world champion, Hamilton, who also recently broke the record for most pole positions in F1 history, has already seen success working with MV Agusta in the past.
In late 2015, MV Agusta released a limited run of 244 units of the Dragster LH, which was co-designed by Hamilton. All 244 were accounted for within hours of the launch.
There’s no word on what the new project will be, but it’s safe to expect something similar along the lines of the Dragster LH – an existing MV Agusta with multiple visual tweaks and upgrades, sold in limited numbers.
The Dragster is not part of MV Agusta India’s current line-up and won’t be for a while as the next products expected to arrive are the Brutale 800 RR and Turismo Veloce.
