The FZ-X Hybrid is similar to the recently launched FZ-S Hybrid, in that it has a few added features and some clever fuel-saving tech over its standard counterpart.
On the FZ-X Hybrid, you get an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) enabling silent start and start/stop tech.
The FZ-X Hybrid also gets the same 4.2-inch colour TFT display with revised switchgear to control all the added functions of the dash, just like the one seen on the FZ-S Hybrid.
Powering the Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid is the same 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled mill as the rest of the FZ models,
The hybrid system on Yamaha’s 150cc commuters is geared towards aiding fuel efficiency and not boosting performance, which is why the peak output stays the same as the non-hybrid versions.
The FZ-X Hybrid weighs 141kg, 2 kilos more than the regular FZ-X.
