Tata Nexon EV facelift

Quick review

Design

Looks more like a generational change than a facelift
Full-width LED light bar at the front and back
Gets a different air dam compared to the ICE Nexon

Interior

Inside, the attention is immediately drawn to the two screens
It gets a bigger infotainment screen (12.3-inch) than Nexon ICE
Piano black panels are a fingerprint magnet

Features

10.25-inch instrument cluster configured specifically for Nexon EV
12.3-inch infotainment screen is slick to use
The 360-degree camera is sharp

Seat comfort

Seats feel well bolstered but cushioning is on the firm side
Second row space is more than ample, has improved under thigh support
Ventllated seat button feels like an afterthought

Performance

Power delivery is more linear than the pre-facelift model
Feels most energetic in Sport mode, relaxed in Eco mode
Tata says it has reduced torque in Nexon EV to reduce spiky power delivery

Charging

Retains the 40.5kWh battery pack but has a range of 465km
Supports DC fast charging up to 30kWh
Front light bar acts as state of charge indicator
Also gets V2V and V2L support
