The Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 carries a familiar EQ family design, blending SUV practicality with electric styling cues. Its front is defined by a smooth, blanked-off grille panel with integrated star motifs and slim LED headlamps that give it a crisp look. The upright stance and squared-off greenhouse make it feel more like a traditional SUV than some curvier EVs, and larger wheels with clean cladding help balance its proportions. Rear styling is simple, with a light bar connecting the tail lamps and minimal clutter.
Engineering emphasizes usability over flash. Built on a modified version of Mercedes’ MFA2 platform with EV adaptations, the EQB feels purposeful in daily driving. There is no dedicated load of dramatic aerodynamic tweaks, but the design strikes a practical balance between aesthetics and EV efficiency.

Inside, the EQB’s cabin carries the familiar Mercedes EV aesthetic with dual widescreen displays for instruments and infotainment. Materials feel upmarket, the dashboard is sleek and interfaces are modern, though some switchgear edges and lower plastics remind you of its slightly more value-oriented positioning compared with top-end EQS models.
Front seats are comfortable and supportive for long distances, with good cushioning and adjustment range. Rear space benefits from the EQB’s upright SUV architecture. The second row offers generous legroom and headroom, and the layout accommodates three adults without feeling cramped. A third row is optionally available in some markets, though in India the focus is on the five-seat layout.
Boot space is practical for everyday and weekend luggage needs, and the cargo floor is usefully flat once rear seats are folded. Usability is strong for a compact-to-mid-sized electric SUV.

The EQB 350 is powered by dual electric motors — one at each axle — producing a combined output of around 290hp and 520Nm powered by 66.5kWh battery. These figures translate to brisk performance for an EV of its size and weight. Power delivery is smooth and instantaneous, with strong acceleration from rest and confidence in overtaking situations.
The driving experience is refined. Acceleration is linear and silent, as expected from an EV, and there is minimal noise intrusion from the powertrain at highway speeds. Wind and tyre noise are present but well contained within the cabin.
Refinement is enhanced by the EQB’s suspension setup that balances ride comfort and composure. The quiet powertrain, plus the absence of engine vibration, gives long-distance drives a serene feel.

The EQB 350 uses a 66.5 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed driving range of around 420–440 km on a full charge under standard test conditions. Real-world range depends on driving style, ambient conditions and terrain, but the numbers place it competitively among midsize EVs in India.
Charging flexibility includes fast DC compatibility that can bring the battery from around 10 per cent to 80 per cent in roughly 30 to 40 minutes at a suitable station. Standard AC charging to full takes several hours depending on the charger used.

Ride comfort is a highlight. Suspension compliance absorbs typical urban potholes and road irregularities while keeping body motions under reasonable control. The EQB feels composed on highways, with stable manners through undulations at speed and a planted feel through gentle corners.
Steering is light in urban use and builds confidence on open roads. While not a sporty EV by any means, its handling prioritises comfort and predictability over sharp dynamics.

Feature content is strong for its segment. A large dual-screen layout handles infotainment and digital instrument display, with intuitive menus and connectivity options that include navigation, streaming and EV-specific data such as real-time range and charging status. Climate control, heated seats, ambient lighting and multiple USB ports add to everyday comfort.
Safety kit is comprehensive, with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, driver-assistance functions and parking sensors as standard. Higher trims may add advanced aids such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, making the EQB a well-equipped offering for families.

In the Indian EV landscape, the EQB 350 presents a compelling blend of space, refinement, range and technology. It slots between compact EVs and larger premium offerings, making it a sensible choice for buyers seeking an EV that works as both a family SUV and a comfortable highway cruiser. Its dual-motor configuration and well-calibrated ride make it appealing for everyday use without compromising on long-distance capability.
