The Swift is one of the most popular cars in India. The fourth-generation Swift, which is now on sale in India, made its global debut last year with an all-new design and a new engine. The new 2025 Maruti Swift boasts evolutionary styling and is slightly larger than its predecessor, although its wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,450mm. Its interior and much of the equipment list are similar to models like the Baleno and Fronx.The 2025 Swift comes with a brand-new engine: a 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z12E unit good for 82hp and 112Nm. This engine now also sees duty on the fourth-gen Dzire compact sedan. The Swift is one of the most fuel-efficient cars in India, with an ARAI-rated mileage of 25.75kpl for the petrol-AMT.

The 2025 Maruti Swift continues to rival the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Tata Tiago.
