The Mahindra XUV 7XO received a mid-cycle facelift in January 2026, which rendered it with a new moniker and fresh design elements. Bookings of the three-row SUV commenced on December 15, 2025, while customer deliveries started on January 14, 2026. Given that new-age Mahindra SUVs are notorious for lengthy waiting periods, let us check out how long it will take for the new XUV 7XO to be delivered.

  1. AX7, AX7 Luxury waiting periods depend on engine option
  2. Base-spec AX trim has the longest waiting period
  3. XUV 7XO prices range from Rs 13.66 lakh to Rs 24.92 lakh

Mahindra XUV 7XO waiting period details

The higher-spec AX7 Tech has a shorter waiting time than other trims

The Mahindra XUV 7XO is offered in six trims: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7 Tech and AX7 Luxury. According to our dealer sources, the top-spec AX7 Luxury trim with a diesel engine has a six-month waiting period, which is considerably long. At four months, the waiting period for the petrol-AT combination is also quite long.

The one-below-top AX7 Tech trim is the more readily available option, with a waiting period of a month for all engine options, which is the lowest in the SUV’s range. However, compared to the higher-spec AX7 Luxury trim, the AX7 Tech misses out on features such as a powered co-driver’s seat, ventilated rear seats and a rear wireless phone charger.

The mid-spec AX7’s waiting period depends on the chosen engine option. The turbo-petrol option has a waiting period of up to a month, while the diesel iteration will make you wait for 1.5 months. There is a lengthy waiting period of five months for the lower-spec AX5 and AX3, while the base-spec AX trim has an extremely high waiting period of one year.
