Spinny has partnered with Tesla in India to offer a bonus of up to Rs 25,000 on the Model Y in exchange for a combustion-engined vehicle through its website. This bonus is being offered in addition to Tesla’s recently announced Rs 3 lakh exchange incentive scheme on the Model Y across India.

Exchange bonuses of Rs 3 lakh + up to Rs 25,000, easier finance schemes on offer
Recently, Tesla announced a ‘Switch and Save’ exchange programme in India, under which the EV maker would offer a Rs 3 lakh incentive on the Model Y if an ICE car is exchanged. It also declared a new 7-year financing scheme for the Model Y, where it can be purchased at a down payment of Rs 6 lakh with a monthly EMI of Rs 49,000. Moreover, Spinny is offering the Model Y with an additional bonus of up to Rs 25,000 in exchange for an ICE car on its platforms.
To avail Spinny’s exchange bonus, a petrol or diesel car has to be exchanged via either the Spinny app, a physical Spinny car hub or a Tesla showroom, after which a new Model Y can be ordered. The bonus will be offered after delivery. However, this scheme is applicable only until March 31 on “selected models and specifications only”, details of which are yet to be revealed.
The Tesla Model Y is offered in two trims: Rear Wheel Drive priced at Rs 59.89 lakh and Long Range Rear Wheel Drive priced at Rs 67.89 lakh. The Tesla Model Y locks horns with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6 and BYD Sealion 7 in India.
