Skoda India has begun production of the Kushaq facelift at its Chakan plant in Pune, with deliveries of the midsize SUV set to commence in March 2026. The automaker opened pre-bookings for the updated Kushaq for an amount of Rs 15,000 when it unveiled the model in January. The Skoda Kushaq facelift will continue to rival its platform sibling, the Volkswagen Taigun, alongside other models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Tata Sierra.

Skoda Kushaq facelift expected price
New features and other updates are likely to bump up the price

Ahead of its official price announcement in March 2026, production of the updated Kushaq is well underway at the brand’s Pune facility in Maharashtra. Expect the prices to go up over the pre-facelift model, especially owing to the addition of new features and styling revisions. For reference, the pre-facelift Kushaq’s ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 10.66 lakh to Rs 18.49 lakh.
Skoda Kushaq facelift features and interior
Facelift brings a couple of new convenience-related features to the Kushaq

Buyers in the midsize SUV segment demand plenty of equipment, something the Kushaq had not been able to fulfil thus far. However, with this facelift, Skoda appears to have addressed those niggles. Additions to the Kushaq facelift’s equipment list that are worth pointing out are a panoramic sunroof and massaging rear seats – the latter is a “segment-first” feature and would be appreciated by chauffeur-driven owners.
Aiding the convenience of those seated up front are powered and ventilated seats, a wireless charger and an automatic climate control system. The Kushaq facelift also brings with it leatherette upholstery, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 6-speaker audio system, multiple USB Type-C ports and built-in Google Gemini integration as part of the infotainment system with voice recognition.

Speaking of, this 10.1-inch touchscreen sports an updated software for faster response and sharper graphics. Another new feature with the Skoda Kushaq facelift is the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. This not only looks modern, but along with the LED ambient lighting, it also adds to the premiumness of this cabin. Meanwhile, the 5-star Global NCAP safety rating of the pre-facelift Kushaq has translated to the facelift.

The cabin itself is a dual-tone affair with a black-and-beige theme in the Prestige trim, replaced by a crimson colour scheme in the Monte Carlo trim. The overall quality and fit-finish of the Kushaq’s interior are largely the same as before, with a two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel and textured trim on the dashboard and doors enhancing the premium feel. On the other hand, the manually operated parking brake could have been replaced with a more modern electronic mechanism.
Skoda Kushaq facelift powertrain
Those choosing a 1.0 TSI variant will now get a new automatic gearbox

One of the other additions with the updated Skoda Kushaq is the inclusion of a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. This transmission, only available in the 1.0 TSI variants, essentially replaces the pre-facelift model’s 6-speed automatic unit. That said, the 6-speed manual gearbox will continue to be offered.
The Kushaq’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 115hp and 178Nm will be carried forward unchanged. Similarly, the 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 150hp and 250Nm will also continue as is. The transmission on offer here will be a 7-speed dual-clutch (DSG) automatic; this is the same gearbox as the one fitted to the pre-facelift model’s 1.5 TSI variants.
Skoda Kushaq facelift design
Visible tweaks come in the form of the brand’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language

With this facelift, Skoda has implemented the brand’s ‘Modern Solid’ design philosophy on the Kushaq. This is noticeable at the front through the use of a sleek LED light bar that connects the headlamps via the main grille, which is garnished in chrome. Skoda has also updated the front bumper with a revised lower apron and a new skid plate design. For the Monte Carlo trim, Skoda has replaced chrome with gloss black and added red highlights to the grille.

The rear of the Kushaq facelift houses a full-width LED light bar with illuminated ‘Skoda’ branding, plus sequential turn indicators. The revised back bumper also gets its own silver skid plate trim. There are no major changes to the side profile of the Kushaq facelift, though the designs for the alloy wheels have been given a makeover. Similarly, the general proportions and stance of the Skoda Kushaq have been maintained. Skoda, however, has introduced three new exterior colours for the Kushaq facelift, namely Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey.
