Details on scale, output and expansion plans

The upcoming facility will be spread across 1,500 acres in the Vidarbha region and will have an annual production capacity of over 5 lakh vehicles and 1 lakh tractors. This will make it Mahindra’s largest integrated manufacturing footprint in India.

In addition to the main plant, Mahindra will develop a 150-acre supplier park in Sambhajinagar, which will support the Nagpur facility and also supply components to Mahindra’s existing plants in Chakan and Nashik.

Alongside the Nagpur project, Mahindra also plans to acquire over 2,000 acres of land across three locations in Maharashtra, including the Igatpuri-Nashik region. This will be used to expand existing product and engine capacities, as well as to support growth in Mahindra’s advanced technology businesses.
