Honda to switch to new logo from 2027

Honda has announced that it will use a newly designed ‘H mark’ badge as its latest symbol to represent its automobile business division. The updated logo was first revealed on the Honda 0 Series saloon in 2024, while its production version will be the first model in Honda’s line-up to feature it. Prototypes of the 0 Series saloon and SUVs wore the logo in person at CES 2025 for the first time.

  1. The new H mark will first debut on the production version of the 0 Saloon
  2. Honda's new logo will appear on dealerships, campaigns and motorsports

New Honda ‘H mark’ logo details

The emblem will be seen on the carmaker's new electric and hybrid-electric models

Having struggled to establish itself as a mainstream EV maker, Honda aims to reset its approach to manufacturing new cars with the release of the new emblem. This change is reflected in the Honda 0 Series models, which prioritise aerodynamic efficiency and driver involvement. The updated H mark was designed while developing the upcoming Honda 0 Series EVs and debuted first on the Honda 0 Series saloon in 2024. While the previous logo had a simple-looking ‘H’ mark within an enclosure, the new one, however, does without the enclosure and comes with more curvy lines, giving it a minimalist look.

Apart from the 0 Series, the new H mark adopted by Honda will be used on hybrid-electric vehicles in the brand’s range, which will come to markets from 2027 onwards. Moreover, it will also be used by Honda touchpoints like dealerships, communication engagements, and for motorsport ventures.
