Renault Triber: what’s new?

The base RXE trim of the Triber, whose prices have increased by Rs 10,000, now gets all four power windows and central locking; these features previously came in from the RXT trim onwards.

For an increase of Rs 20,000, the second-from-base RXL trim has been updated with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reverse parking camera as well as rear speakers. Again, these features were previously available from the RXT trim onwards.

Lastly, the 15-inch flexi wheels (steel wheels with alloy-like wheel covers), which were previously limited to the top RXZ trim, have been brought down to the RXT trim.

Renault Triber engine and specs

The 2025 Renault Triber continues to be offered with just a sole 72hp, 96Nm, 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine. It’s offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox; the latter is limited to just the top-spec RXZ trim.

As a sub-4m three-row MPV, the Triber does not have a direct rival in India. Its closest competitor would be the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga that’s priced between Rs 8.84 lakh and Rs 13.13 lakh.
