Yamaha has recalled a total of 3,06,635 units of the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooters manufactured between May 2, 2024, and September 3, 2025.

  1. 3,06,635 units of RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid affected
  2. These were manufactured between May 2, 2024, and September 3, 2025

Affected scooters eligible for free replacement parts

According to the company, the recall has been initiated to address a concern wherein, under certain operating conditions, the front brake caliper exhibits limited function in select units.

Customers can visit the Service section of the Yamaha Motor India website to check if their scooter has been affected. Alternatively, you can search ‘Voluntary Recall Campaign Yamaha’ on Google, and one of the top search results redirects to the Yamaha page where you can enter your scooter’s chassis number to see if it is a part of the recall.

Affected customers will be eligible to receive replacement parts free of cost at their nearest Yamaha dealership.
