Royal Enfield Moroccan Odyssey 2026

Royal Enfield has announced the inaugural edition of the Moroccan Odyssey 2026, marking the brand’s first marquee motorcycling expedition on the African continent. Scheduled from March 27 to April 4, 2026, the 12-day journey will span nearly 2,000km across Morocco’s most dramatic landscapes, astride the all-terrain Himalayan 450.

  1. This journey will be undertaken on the Himalayan 450
  2. Entries for this expedition are limited
  3. Single registration costs Rs 2.50 lakh

The Moroccan Odyssey 2026 expedition will begin in Marrakech, before ascending the legendary Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which is a 2,260-metre climb into the High Atlas, where the roads are said to be very old. From the film-industry hub of Ouarzazate, the “Door of the Desert”, the route will descend into the vast Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga, under the Saharan sky.

From the Sahara, the expedition will turn north through the Middle Atlas, cross pine forests and high plateaus before arriving at Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. The journey then plans to thread through the “Blue Pearl” of Chefchaouen, tucked high in the Rif Mountains, before finally running west to Rabat, where the road meets the Atlantic, and the journey concludes.
