The list of accessories that are offered with the 390 Adventure and Adventure X includes a headlamp protector, a mudflap extension, a lower fender, a centre stand, a touring seat and a bike cover. Additionally, the 390 duo will also get a 10-year extended warranty worth Rs 2,650 for free. The brand says this offer is available for a limited time, and prospective customers can avail this across the country at authorised KTM dealerships.
These benefits come at the tail-end of the life cycles of the 390 Adventure bikes, which are slated to get a downsized engine soon. The new unit will have a displacement of under 350cc to benefit from the lower 18 percent tax for models up to 350cc under GST 2.0; currently, these bikes are taxed at 40 percent as their engines are above 350cc.
Mechanically, these bikes are unchanged, powered by a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 46hp and 39Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
