A few days after a new Kinetic Green electric scooter was spotted testing, the company shared more details about its future plans. It has three new products in the pipeline, slated for launch over the next one and a half years.

  1. Reborn Kinetic Honda DX EV likely to be the first new product
  2. The E-Luna success bolstered the company’s plans
  3. The company claims it has sold over 80,000 EVs through its 400 dealers nationwide

First offering slated to be launched before the 2025 festive season

Kinetic Green has shared that it is currently working on three ‘born-electric’ scooters, all of which are claimed to hit the market within the next 18 months. The first of these is touted to be a family-centric EV, which will have a TFT display and other smart connected features that are becoming increasingly common in the electric two-wheeler market. Kinetic Green claims this scooter will have multiple variants with differing battery capacities to ensure it caters to various price points in the electric scooter segment.

While the company hasn’t officially confirmed this, the scooter in question is likely to be the reborn Kinetic Honda DX EV, which was spotted testing just a few days ago. This scooter will have boxy styling like the KiHo of yesteryear, but it will have a silent powertrain, unlike its ICE predecessor. Kinetic Green says this electric scooter will be launched in India just before the festive season, just like TVS’ entry-level Orbiter electric scooter.

The company says the E-Luna’s success has bolstered its plans and claims to have sold over 80,000 electric two-wheelers through its 400-strong dealer network in India during this ‘initial phase.’ However, the exact timeline has not been clearly outlined.
