BMW Motorrad dealerships are currently offering the CE 02 electric two-wheeler at heavily discounted prices – in some cases, nearly half of its usual asking price. The discounts apply to both the Standard and Highline trims, but are subject to availability of stock.

  1. BMW CE 02 now available from Rs 2.50 lakh, on-road
  2. Powered by a 3.92kWh battery with a claimed 108km range

BMW CE 02 discount details

Discounts are being offered at a dealership level and are subject to availability.

The BMW CE 02 is one of the most expensive electric scooters sold in India, second only to its sibling, the CE 04. However, a dealership in Mumbai currently has the base variant listed at Rs 2.50 lakh (on-road), while a dealership in Bengaluru is offering the Highline trim for Rs 3 lakh (on-road). These bring it much closer to mass-market electric scooters like the Ather 450 Apex, which sits just under the Rs 2 lakh mark, on-road, in Bengaluru. It even undercuts the TVS X, which is priced at Rs 2.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Since this isn’t an official price reduction from BMW Motorrad, the offer isn’t available nationwide and will vary depending on dealer stock.

Manufactured at TVS’ Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu, the CE 02 features two 1.96kWh battery packs (combined capacity of 3.92kWh), and produces a peak output of 11kW and 55Nm. BMW claims a range of 108km and a top speed of 95kph. The Highline variant adds a gold anodised USD fork, teal graphics, a tri-colour seat, heated grips and a smartphone holder.

We found the CE 02 to be a genuinely fun and characterful city machine, and at these discounted prices, it becomes a far more compelling proposition – and arguably the most attainable BMW two-wheeler at the moment.

Dealerships we’ve spoken to have also mentioned that the offer is valid only on a limited number of scooters, so we recommend checking with your nearest BMW Motorrad outlet, as pricing and availability will vary by location.
