Renault has revealed the new Boreal C-segment SUV, months after teasing it in April. In terms of dimensions, the Boreal SUV stretches the tape to 4,556mm in length, 1,841mm in width and 1,650mm in height; wheelbase is 2,702mm. Save for height, the Boreal is larger in every dimension than the upcoming Renault Duster. The Boreal's exterior borrows design elements from the Renault Niagara concept and the Symbioz SUV. In terms of features, the Boreal is fitted with 19-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, dual 10-inch screens for infotainment and entertainment, powered front seats, massage-enabled driver's seat, panoramic sunroof, premium Harman Kardon sound system, Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera setup. It should be noted that Renault has revealed the Boreal as a five-seater SUV, which translates to a massive boot capacity of 586 litres with all seats up and 1,770 litres when folded down. Boreal's 1.3-litre turbocharged engine, paired with a dual-clutch gearbox, makes 163hp, 270Nm in flex-fuel and 138hp/156hp, 240Nm in petrol guises. Boreal's quickest 0-100kph time is 9.26 seconds.
