Kawasaki unveiled the Z1100 in Europe in late September, introducing what is now the brand’s flagship naturally aspirated supernaked, succeeding the long-discontinued Z1000. Now, just weeks later, the bike has officially launched in India at Rs 12.79 lakh.

The Kawasaki Z1100 shares its engine and main frame with the Ninja 1100SX. Power comes from a 1,099cc liquid-cooled, inline-four engine producing 136hp at 9,000rpm and 113Nm at 7,600rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), the brand’s bi-directional quickshifter system.

The bike’s electronics package is comprehensive, centred around a new 5-inch colour TFT display and a five-axis IMU supports rider aids like cornering ABS, three traction control levels, two power modes and cruise control.

The 2026 Kawasaki Z1100's price helps it undercut its closest rival, the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which is priced at Rs 13.29 lakh.
