The Nexon EV has a claimed range of 489km (45kWh LR) and 275km (30kWh MR) on the ARAI cycle. But, as per Tata’s real-world C75 range tests, the LR offers up to 375km, while the MR settles for 230km. For other terms and conditions, please refer to the Nexon EV brochure.

    6. Is the Tata Nexon EV better than the petrol version in user-friendliness?

Excellent for city and intercity trips.

Our Nexon EV facelift review states that it delivers power in a more linear manner than the previous SUV. While the Nexon diesel, petrol and CNG models suffer from some turbo lag initially, that’s never the case with the EV sibling. Being an EV, NVH levels are also comparatively lower. Considering all of the above, the Nexon EV makes for an excellent city and intercity runabout that's tractable and has a zero-carbon footprint. For long distances, though, the ICE Nexons may still be better.
