Volkswagen unveils Taigun facelift

For MY26 the Taigun receives a fresh exterior, additions to its feature list, and a new gearbox option. 

New LED headlamps connected by LED DRL and illuminated VW badge share resemblance to the larger Tayron. Front bumper gets a restyled with two horizontal chrome slats. GT versions get black detailing.

At the back, the connected LED tail-lamp setup gets revised detailing, and the bumper sees minor revisions to its design. 

The Taigun facelift continues to get dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels but with a new design. GT versions feature the same design in an all-black avatar.

Cabin layout remains unchanged, but it gets substantial upgrades to bring it up to speed with the competition.

The new Taigun facelift gets a panoramic sunroof over the single pane unit of its predecessor.

• Powered and ventilated front seats.
• Six different finishes for the seats depending on trim chosen.

• Comfortably accommodates two full-size adults.
• Dedicated AC vents and two type-C ports.

The facelift retains the 1.0 and 1.5 direct-injection turbo-petrol engines. The former gets a new 8-speed automatic gearbox, and can also be paired with a 6-speed manual but the latter is paired to a 7-speed DCT gearbox only.
