Suzuki has issued a massive recall for the Access, Avenis and Burgman 125 in India.

Issued on July 25th 2024 and affects vehicles manufactured between April 30th 2022 to December 3rd 2022.

It is caused due to a faulty high tension cord which is installed to the ignition coil.

If left unchecked, the issue is expected to cause engine stall and starting failure.

Furthermore, this issue can develop cracks in the high tension cord that can cause exposure to water.

Which can damage the vehicle's speed sensor and throttle position sensor, resulting in speed display failure or starting failure.

Suzuki has listed the number of affected units to be 2,63,788 for the Access 125

52,578 units for the Avenis 125

72,025 units for the Burgman 125
