Upcoming Mahindra SUV launches

16 new SUVs lined up for launch by 2030

There will be as many as 9 new Internal Combustion Engine-powered SUVs and 7 new born electric vehicles by 2030.

Of the nine new ICE models, three will be mid-cycle updates for existing offerings (including the recently launched XUV 3XO), and six will be all-new SUVs.

Thar 5-door and pickup based on the Scorpio N will be among new ICE models; next-gen Bolero based on new U171 platform and a seven-seater derivative are other likely products.

Sources also tell us that over half a dozen “top hats” that include more SUV body styles and pickups are being planned on the new U171 platform.

Facelifts will include updated XUV700 and Scorpio N, although no specific launch timelines haven’t been revealed for any model.

Mahindra’s upcoming EVs will include the BE and XUV.e range that’ll go on sale from 2025 onwards; Thar EV also in the works.

Mahindra EVs will have 60-80kWh batteries with up to 450km of range. The new electric SUVs based on the INGLO platform will have both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options.
