Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp handed over the first batch of Mavrick 440 customer units.
Mavrick 440 is based on the same platform as Harley-Davidson X440 but has a different feature-set and simpler componentry.
The air/oil-cooled, 440cc, single-cylinder motor is rated for 27hp at 6,000rpm and 36Nm of torque at 4,000rpm in the Mavrick 440.
While peak torque is a little lower than the baby Harley, we found that the Mavrick 440 doesn’t feel much slower than its American sibling in the real world.
The Hero Mavrick 440 is available in three variants – base, mid, top.
Hero’s first offering in the premium 300-500cc space retains the company’s core strength of excellent value.
