Seal inherits cues from the 2021 Ocean X concept and follows BYD’s ‘ocean aesthetics’ design language.

Powertrain

Sources tell us that the Seal for India is expected to get a dual-motor powertrain with all-wheel drive set-up.
Claimed 0-100kph time of 3.8s.

Battery

There are two battery options on offer – a 61.4kWh unit with up to 500km range and an 82.5kWh unit that has up to 700km of range.

Interior

Gets a rotating 15.6-inch infotainment display, similar to the Atto 3 SUV and e6 MPV.

India details

The Seal EV sedan made its India debut last year at Auto Expo 2023.

Spied in India

Spotted on the outskirts of Chennai, sources tell us that the Seal sedan will go on sale in March 2024.
