Engine and performance

999cc inline four cylinder isn’t Japanese smooth but produces immense power and has a strong mid range as well.

Handling

The bike feels very agile and responsive. This is the easiest of all the 1000cc superbikes when it comes to handling.

Comfort

The riding position is roomy and the suspension does a decent job with absorbing smaller bumps, however, the firm seat is painfully uncomfortable on the road.

Electronics

The electronic rider assists are vast and highly customizable. It can get a little overwhelming inside all the menus, but the rider assists work superbly.

Verdict

The S1000RR isn’t the most beautiful or the most involving superbike but is one of the easiest and most encouraging to ride and it is good value for what it offers.
