Auto Expo 2014: Piaggio showcases its future models for India

Vespa unveils new two-wheelers that are slated for the Indian market in the coming months.
Italian two-wheeler specialist Piaggio has confirmed it will be bringing the sporty Vespa S to India in a few weeks, followed by the 946 premium automatic scooter, which makes a powerful lifestyle statement, and the Liberty, which is equipped with a four-stroke, 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled and fuel-injected engine, making 10bhp at 7,500rpm with a maximum torque output of 1kgm at 6,000rpm.
Piaggio also showcased the California 1400 Touring, followed by the Aprilia RSV4 ABS sports bike – which is powered by a four-stroke, 999.6cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine producing 184bhp of power.
